2018 Domaine Gautherin Chablis Grand cru “Les Vaudésirs” Magnum

Chablis, this name is known all over the world. This reputation is due to the prestigious wines that are produced in this village of 3000 people based in Burgundy. The Domaine Gautherin is a family estate passed down from father to son and for many generations to come. We benefit an ancestral knowledge and a top-of-the-range vineyard exposed on the best slopes. Our wines are made in a traditional way, to let express our inimitable clay-limestone soil. Our vineyards are cultivated with rigour and passion in a reasoned and sustainable way.

Tasting notes: The nose is elegant, delicate, racy, powerful with a beautiful grain and intensity. It reveals notes of quince, apple flowers, juicy green peach, small notes of dry citrus associated with touches of small yellow berries, a racy minerality, yellow flowers (buttercup) as well as a very discreet hint of beeswax and toasted hazelnut (in the background).
